Hello, my name is Kelly and I am an 18 year otaku. I am basically obsessed with all things geeky. I been exposed to anime ever since I was a young kid and I would spend my weekends watching Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, and Pokemon on TV. Growing up I kept my love for these shows and made friends with similar interests who exposed me to more. I got into comic books and obviously gaming; ever since owning my first Gameboy (which I renamed Gamegirl) as a little kid which got me into video games. During high school a good friend introduced me to the wonderful world of conventions and cosplay. Ever since then I been hooked and am dedicating myself to become a great cosplayer and meeting more people like me.
The world of cosplay is an interesting one that can look weird and intimidating to many outsiders. However, it is one that is filled with fun, wonder, and great people. I hope that by reading this blog that you will find a place in this world and maybe make it a lifetime hobby. My purpose is really just to share some basic information and maybe some personal experience about what goes on in the cosplay culture or community.
